The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 signed into law by President Obama and includes a provision for an $8,000 First Time Homebuyer Tax Credit. This tax credit will apply to first time homebuyers who purchase a home on or after January 1, 2009 through December 1, 2009.
The availability of this tax credit for first time homebuyer in Branford, East Haven, Guilford, Madison or New Haven Connecticut is a wonderful opportunity to open the doors of homeownership.
