Town of East Haven

East Haven is adjacent to New Haven making it an easy commute to the city. It is also home to Tweed New Haven Airport with daily flights to surrounding cities. The downtown area clusters around the green with its historical stone church, stores and town hall.

There are many recreational facilities such as playing fields, an indoor hockey rink, an outdoor track, tennis courts, playgrounds, the town pool as well as two miles of beaches.

The New Haven Municipal Golf Course offers discounts to East Haven residents. The Shoreline Trolley Museum is a very popular attraction where people from all over the state come to experience a ride into the past. There is an active senior citizen’s center and an adult day care center.

There are many stores in East Haven ranging from major department stores to small family run businesses.  Restaurants represent many different cuisines.
